Buddha’s Lost Secrets:
Tips on Meditation & the Spiritual path #204
from your Buddhism expert

There is only so much time and energy. These
limitations force us to choose between scholastic
accomplishment and spiritual attainment.

Many Americans who study Zen put more effort into trying to become Japanese, then they do trying to attain enlightenment.

But wait, there’s more!

The same absurdity occurs when Americans studying:
• Ch’an,
• Tantra or
• Theravada…

indulge in the silly distraction of getting lost in the cultures of:
• China,
• Tibet,
• India and
• Thailand.

It is NOT my Job to…

master:
• linguistics,
• culture,
• trivia or
• politics.

My job is simple.
Your job is simple.
Buddha’s job was simple.

May I give you two things?

May I give you a Fact and a Secret?

FACT: Buddha was born for two purposes;
#1 to accomplish full enlightenment in one
lifetime and...
#2 to take away the world’s sufferings.

Are you ready for the Secret?

That is also why you were born, and that is also why
I was born, and quite honestly, that is what the
meaning of life is all about!

So let’s free ourselves from the time-wasting and
energy-squandering distractions that threaten to
drain us like Dracula in a Bela Lugosi film.

And instead, let’s set our sights upon, the two most
worthy goals of accomplishing enlightenment for
ourselves and others.

If you were to schedule and pay for an audience with
the 14th Dalai Lama of Tibet; and you asked him what
the meaning of life was, what would his answer be?

There is a good chance he would say, “the meaning of
life can be found in…

Completing the two collections for
the two purposes” ? ? ?

At that point:
• your eyes could glaze over,
• your jaw could hang slack and
• a line of drool could actually descend from
the corner of your mouth.

And of course at that sight, the Dalai Lama
could, good naturedly, point and laugh.

The “…two collections for the two purposes…”;

What could that Mean?

SIMPLE! The two purposes are:
#1 to accomplish full enlightenment in this
life and...
#2 to then, turn around, and help everyone
else do likewise; without ever
abandoning our:
• children,
• partners,
• jobs or
• homes.

The two collections are:
• the collection of transcendental Insight and
• the collection of Good-karma.

The two purposes are our destinations and the
two collections fuel us on Buddha’s path.

One of the most effective ways to further your
progress on Buddha’s path to enlightenment to is
to practice the “Treasure of the Dalai Lamas” for
3 minuets every morning and 44 seconds every
evening. That way you’ll understand the essence of
Buddha’s teachings, so you can have a hook to
hang your hat on, so it could be much easier to
feel safe on enlightenment’s path, so you could
free up your time and energy for that which is
truly important… greater: peace, love, bliss and
transformation, so reserve your copy now

Buddha’s Lost Secrets:
Tips on Meditation & the Spiritual path #203
from your Buddhism expert

A sweet and earnest 12-stepper, who was exploring
Hindu mysticism, enthusiastically shared some of her
guru’s advice with me.

The utter nonsense that he was passing off as
spiritual guidance was, “Always Return to your
Breath.” Hmmm sounds nice {in a mindlessly
superficial sort of way
}, but what was his point?

He was advising his students to turn from their
sufferings of sorrow, fear, aggression and turmoil and
run into the arms of Breathing meditation.

What a steaming Load of Monkey Poop!

Yes, just as I taught in “The Centering Questions” the
tranquility offered by effective breathing
meditation can be calming, peaceful and blissful. But
it can also be deceptively seductive.

Listen, before Buddha was Buddha, when he was still
Gautama the Monk, he quickly mastered the eight
“Jha-nas” of deep meditation. But he quickly observed
that whatever painful emotion drove him to mediate, was
NOT dissolved by his blissful meditation.

Rather, when he concluded each meditation session he
noticed that the painful emotion that drove him to
meditate, in the first place, was still there, with
all it’s destructive energy, poised and ready to
pounce; like a cat, sitting in front of a mouse hole,
waiting patiently for the inevitable re-appearance of
his quarry.

Buddha found that the only purpose of deep
meditation was to prepare the mind for contemplation.

In the centuries before Buddha, men like
Pantanjali taught the virtues of concentration and
men like Shankara praised the benefits of
contemplation. Just as Reese combined the great
tastes of both peanut butter and chocolate into
their “peanut butter cups” likewise only Buddha
successfully united both concentration and
contemplation into one, dynamically effective system.

A very effective presentation of Buddha’s
essentialized “middle-way” contemplations can be
found in the “Sutric Questions” portion of the
practice text “Quick Path to Happy Peace.” That is
why I’ve also made it available for FREE download.

Remember it is tranquility that gives us the
resourcefulness to contemplate effectively. As
I explained in “Harnessing the Power of the Bowing
Prayer
,” ancient Indians described magick in terms of interdependent:
• matter,
• energy and
• thought.

Just as the Bowing Prayer is important to prepare the
body for mediation, likewise the practice of the
Karmic Dynamo” is crucial for preparing both the
energy and the mind for the truly transformative and
liberating union of concentration and contemplation.

There are only 2 days left to get your copy of the

Buddha’s Lost Secrets:
Tips on Meditation & the Spiritual path #202
from your Buddhism expert

The great Tibetan saint, Patrul Rinpoche wrote:

Ah! Fount of compassion,
my root teacher, Lord Chen-re-zig,
you are my
only protector!

The Six-syllable mantra, essence of your speech
is the sublime Dhar-ma;
from now on I have
NO hope BUT you!

Two generations later, the 14th Dalai Lama’s late
teacher, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, explained:

Chen-re-zig is a fully enlightened Buddha who,

in order to benefit beings, takes on the form of a
Bo-dhi-sat-tva. All the Buddhas have but one nature
and their compassion is embodied in Chen-re-zig. As
the embodiment of the compassion of all the Buddhas,
Chen-re-zig is at the same time the source of all
Buddhas and Bo-dhi-sat-tvas, since compassion is
the very root of enlightenment. Chen-re-zig is
compassion itself in the form of a deity.

Chen-re-zig is the Buddha,

Chen-re-zig is the Dhar-ma,
Chen-re-zig is the Sang-ha;

Chen-re-zig is the Gu-ru,
Chen-re-zig is the Yi-dam,
Chen-re-zig is the Da-ki-ni;

Chen-re-zig is the Dhar-ma-ka-ya,
Chen-re-zig is the Sam-bho-ga-ka-ya,
Chen-re-zig is the Nir-ma-na-ka-ya;

Chen-re-zig is A-mi-ta-bha,
Chen-re-zig is Gu-ru Rin-po-che,
Chen-re-zig is Ar-ya Ta-ra;

and above all Chen-re-zig is
our own Root Teacher.

Like a hundred streams passing under a single bridge,

Chen-re-zig is the union of all the Buddhas.

To receive his blessings is to receive the
blessings of all the Buddhas, and to realize his
nature is to realize the nature of all the Buddhas.

Chen-re-zig manifests infinite forms; kings,
spiritual teachers, ordinary men and women, wild
animals, even mountains, trees, bridges – whatever
is necessary to fulfill sentient beings’ needs.

Even a cool breeze in scorching weather or
a soothing moment of relief during a
painful illness are manifestations of
Chen-re-zig’s compassion.

Similarly, Chen-re-zig’s Six-syllable mantra,
Om Ma-ni Pad-me Hum, is the compassionate
wisdom of all the Buddhas manifested as sound.

Within it is contained the essential meaning of all
eighty-four thousand sections of the Buddha’s
teachings. Of all the many mantras of various kinds,
such as
• awareness mantras,
• dharanis and
• secret mantras,
not one is superior to the six syllables of
Chen-re-zig. The great benefits of reciting this
mantra, commonly known as the Ma-ni, are described
again and again in both {the} sutras and tantras.

It is said that to recite the Ma-ni even once is
the same as reciting the whole of the twelve branches
of Buddha’s teachings. Reciting the six syllables
of the Ma-ni perfects the six Pa-ra-mi-tas and
firmly blocks any possibility of rebirth in the six
realms of Sam-sa-ra.

It is a simple practice, easy to understand and
accessible to all, and at the same time it contains
the essence of the Dha-rma.

If you take the Ma-ni as your refuge both in
happiness and in sorrow, Chen-re-zig will always
be with you, you will feel more and more devotion
without any effort, and all by itself the
realization of the Ma-ha-ya-na path will arise in
your being.

There is nothing in the whole world that can
actually frighten away the Lord of Death, but the
warm radiance of Chen-re-zig’s compassion can
completely dispel the dread felt by anyone as
Death approaches. This is what is meant by “undeceiving refuge.”

Totally free from Sam-sa-ra, Chen-re-zig is
always ready to help sentient beings, and even the
slightest movement – a gesture of his hand, a blink
of his eyes – has the power to free us from
Sam-sa-ra.

When we invoke him by reciting the Ma-ni, we
should never think that he is too far away to hear
us, in some distant Buddhafield… in truth his
compassion never forsakes a single being.

He manifests himself constantly in whatever form may
benefit beings most, particularly in the form of
great spiritual teachers; so we should understand
with complete conviction that Chen-re-zig, the
supreme protector who shows all sentient beings the
path to liberation, {could be} in fact none other
than our root teacher.

That is why my essays can find their way to your
computer at absolutely NO charge, that is why I’ve
made “Quick Path to Happy Peace,” and a devotional
image of Chen-re-zig available for FREE download,
that is why I’ve made the commentaries and explanations
available for only modest donations, that is why
your opportunity to make the most of this fantastic
opportunity that has been made available to you now

Buddha’s Lost Secrets:
Tips on Meditation & the Spiritual path #201
from your Buddhism expert

Hello boys and girls, and welcome to Torquemada
central; where we track fear mongers so we can be
real sure not to fall for their slippery devices.

This afternoon I was standing at the sink, enjoying
Smooth Jazz on the radio, while doing the dishes.
Then I heard it. A fear monger had actually shelled
out plenty of peanuts to have his commercial
professionally produced. He then shelled out even
more denero to buy plenty of air time, late in
the afternoon, when fatigue and stress had suitably
softened-up the listeners, thus lowering their
resistance to his fear oriented commercial.

Vince Lombardi is famous for saying,

“Fatigue makes Cowards of us All”

and he was correct. That’s right kids, those fear
mongers sure can be whiley!

Yeah, this fear monger was extra sneaky. First he
began the commercial with a guest, giving his
testimonial in a way that made it sound like a
hospital or an insurance commercial.

FIRST the guest began by saying that one day he felt
great, but was at a loss to explain his strong sense
of dizziness or how he lost his ability to keep his
balance; even when doing something as mundane as
simply attempting to walk across the room. At the
urging of his devoted wife, he agreed to be taken to
the hospital. After examining him, the Neurologist
on call declared that they had,

“caught it just in time,”

but that if he had waited, it could have been fatal.

At this point it felt like an announcer would come
on and encourage all the listeners to heed all
neurological symptoms. But instead the guest then
emotionally uttered,

“I could have died, and I just wasn’t prepared for that…”

Then the announcer, a card carrying fear monger,
said,

“Forever is too Long to be Wrong!”

Which of course inferred eternal damnation for any
and all who fail to believe what he believes or
practice how he practices. Then he said,

“So if you need answers or guidance or
anything at all then come on down to
‘my’ Church”

Hmmmm, so let me see if I’ve got this straight. FIRST
the fear monger scares me, THEN he invites me to run
into his arms? Why? So he can manipulate me even
further? Why would I do that? So he can tell me what
to believe, and what to do and what to think?

Guys, fear is pain, fear is suffering. How could we
possibly trust someone who’s ethics are so dodgy that
not only would they pull a bait and switch, but
they’d deliberately cause us to suffer in the name
of winning our souls. If someone is
enthusiastically willing to emotionally injure vast
numbers of radio listeners, late in the afternoon,
when they’re tired, stressed and vulnerable then
what will he do to his congregation, no less the
poor bastard who actually stumbles into his office
for a “counseling” appointment?

A very famous Jew once scolded,

“You travel over land and sea to
win a single convert, and when
he becomes one, you make him twice as
much a son of hell as you are.”

Let’s not fall prey to the sticky webs, spun by our
friendly, neighborhood fear monger. Whether you fear
Jewish-hell, Christian-hell, Taoist-hell,
Hindu-hell or Buddhist-hell…fear is suffering and

Suffering Sucks!

I know! I’ve squandered decades of this life by
allowing myself to by pulled by the puppet strings
of the fear of hell. Listen, insuring a safe,
wonderful, auspicious rebirth is easy. That is why
I teach the Karmic Dynamo, so you can purify your
bad karma, so you can multiply your good karma, so
you can shed your selfish fear, so you can replace
it with something much better, so you can replace it
with devotion so you can add to it love, so you can
add to it bliss, so you can add to it peace so
reserve your copy now

But don’t dally. There are only 10 days left to take
advantage of this month’s discount and I’d hate for
you to miss out.

Buddha’s Lost Secrets:
Tips on Meditation & the Spiritual path #200
from your Buddhism expert

Have you met them? You know, the men and women who
fancy themselves as great masters of the
metaphysical.

I’ve known men and woman of this sort who
consistently and tragically miss the forest for the
trees. Have you ever met folks like this?

I’ve encountered folks who proudly boasted of
mastering the trivial art of:

Manifesting Parking Spaces.

I don’t know where you live, but here, in southern
California’s San Diego County, parking spaces can
really seem scarce, especially at special events,
especially at malls, especially at holiday time.

Yet I know a man and a woman who pride themselves on
always finding a great parking space in a minimum
amount of time. Yep, those two sure are good at
“manifesting” parking spaces.

Tragically, although those two are very
accomplished at “conjuring” parking spaces they are
absolute failures at manifesting truly abundant:
• vocational success,
• financial prosperity,
• romantic fulfillment,
• personal growth or
• spiritual accomplishment.

But why? How could this be? How is it that those who
can be so very successful at conjuring the trivial
could be abysmal failures at manifesting that which
is truly important?

Two Reasons

FIRST, like many others, that unfortunate pair are
clutching at methods of “manifestation” that are
very expensive… karmicly, that is.

Just as I explained in the essay, “The Devil’s gonna
Get ya, if you don’t Watch out
!”, all our actions
have an energy signature, or in other words,
everything we do , say or choose:
• is influenced by our good and bad karma,
• taps into and “spends” our good and bad karma
and…
• generates even more good and bad karma.

Did you know that Good Karma can be a lot like cash?
Yep, typically the more you spend, the less you
have. So, could you see how very important it could
be to spend our good karma wisely?

Those two squandered their karmic-currency on petty,
trivial conveniences thus leaving their greater and
substantially more important needs unmet.

That is why the ancient Buddhist masters taught the
vital importance of working on our most challenging
and important needs first, that is why I emphasize
manifesting greater love, peace, wisdom and
happiness and that is why I offer “Quick Path to
Happy Peace” for FREE download.

OK my friend, I promised you two reasons why those
folks wound up in such dire straights. Yes, the
FIRST reason was that they squandered their
Good-karma unwisely upon trivial and truly
unimportant conveniences. But what could the SECOND
reason be?

Simple! Those two unfortunates chose Karmicly
EXPENSIVE methods of “manifestation.” Like so many
others, they chose methods that gobbled up their
Good-karma, like a Pac Man in the 1980’s video game.

Did you know I could teach you ways to:
• manifest even more peace and happiness
• as well as liberate yourself from sufferings...

in ways that actually increase your Good-karma as well as your:
• concentration,
• devotion,
• bliss,
• insight,
• peace and
• love?

That is why I teach the inner secrets of the Karmic Dynamo so you can purify your Bad-karma, so you can receive greater supernatural protection, so you can progress even faster upon Buddha’s path to enlightenment, so you can multiply your Good-fortune, so you can live the life you’ve always dreamed of.

But listen up kids, there are LESS then two weeks
left to reserve your copy of the Karmic Dynamo for
a substantial discount, so reserve yours today.

Buddha’s Lost Secrets:
Tips on Meditation & the Spiritual path #199
from your Buddhism expert

This is so cool! I was just wondering what I’d
write about next and then a very honest fellow
wrote me saying:

“I’m a little wary because some people
told me you were not who you say you are.”

Of course I could be a wise ass and write:

Just because some folks tell you I’m a “Big Mac”
doesn’t mean Mc Donald’s is going to serve me for
lunch!

But no, that is far too beneath me. I’d rather use
this opportunity to explore Buddha’s only standard
for evaluating a teacher.

In the Sutta of the Kalama’s Dilemma we read that
one day Lord Buddha was trucking down the road,
just grooving on the wonders of the present moment
with a handful of disciples; when the town fathers,
of the city of the Ka-la-mas, flagged them down.

Lord Buddha, they explained, we’s got a heap a
trouble! So many teachers with so many instructions
come through our town. All the teachers are
different and all the instructions are different but
they each have two things in common:

#1) They each Praise themselves and their doctrines
#2) and they each Denigrate all the other teachers
and their instructions!

Who are we to rely upon?

Buddha is so cool; instead of merely giving them a
quick, fortune-cookie answer and toddling off into
the sunset, he made real sure they got it. Before
telling them how they would know which teacher and
instruction to rely upon, he first told them how
they would NOT know which ones to embrace.

Lord Buddha enumerated an extensive list, but I’ll
just give you it’s essence. The Enlightened One
explained that you would NOT be able to identify
the most trustworthy teacher and instruction by:
• fame,
• popularity,
• prestige,
• logic,
• intuition,
• personal preference, or…
• convention.

Convention tells us that if we want to hire a
personal assistant we need to:
#1 put an ad in the paper,
#2 schedule three interviews, and
#3 be quite meticulous to check their;
A) Resume,
B) Credentials and
C) References.

But Lord Buddha, taught that it was NOT wise to rely
upon Convention! How then shall we know, really know,
whether or not a teacher and his instructions could
be effective at helping us to progress upon the
path of Love, Peace, Insight and Happiness?

Just as the British used to say,
the proof of the pudding is in the tasting,”
and Jesus taught,
you shall know a tree by it’s fruit,”
Lord Buddha explained that

it is the Efficacy of the Teachings that
Validates the Teacher.

Rather than hide behind a paper lion of resume,
credentials, references and reputation; a true
teacher will put his money where his mouth is.

So then, what are a true teacher’s resume,
credentials and references? They are simply his
Compassion and Insight as reflected by

the Power of his teachings to Heal the
hearts of his students.

Does that mean we gotta run around collecting
testimonials? Nope! You see, it’s simple!

#1 Find a teacher,
#2 receive his blessings,
#3 listen to his teachings and then…
#4 practice his instructions!

After you have practiced his teachings twice a day,
every day, for 90 days, with out:
negotiating, diluting or "improving” them; simply
notice your results. Are you more Loving, Peaceful
and Happy? Have you improved? Have you become more
of the happy camper you were born to be? Have you
become more of the wonderful person that your dog
already thinks you are?

Or, did you stay the same? Did you stagnate? Did you
get worse? After 90 days of practicing the
teachings, you have received, do you:
• dress in black,
• breath funny,
• carry a light saber and…
• do your friends call you, “Darth Vader?”

It’s easy. When selecting a teacher we have three
choices. The first extreme is to NOT judge your
teacher or his instructions, or what I like to
call, the Jonestown approach. That is when you
mindlessly do what ever the teacher instructs. Oh
please don’t choose that option.
And, while you’re at it, please don’t drink the
Kool Aid!

The second extreme is Prejudice. That is when we
allow the tyranny of our preconceptions to pre-judge
the teacher and his instructions. This foolish type
of pre judging is usually based on the superficial
preconceptions of:
• fame,
• popularity,
• prestige,
• logic,
• intuition,
• personal preference, or…
• convention;
which is exactly what Buddha warned us against!
Why could this be a foolish cause of action?

#1 It causes us to shut our selves off from any real
benefit that could be available through that teacher
or his instructions and…

#2 it completely disregards Buddha’s advice! Hey man,
if you sincerely feel that your way is better than
Buddha’s way, then I am clearly NOT the teacher for
you. And by the way, good luck!

Well then, if both failing to judge and pre-judging
the teacher are big, fat mistakes; what then is the
Buddha’s middle path between the two extremes?

Simple! Rather than NOT-judge or PRE-judge, the
fully enlightened one teaches us to simply postpone
judgment until the results of practicing the teacher's
instructions, twice daily, for 90 consecutive days…
manifests. Guys, this is a real easy deal to do.

This month I’ve been telling you about the teachings
of the Karmic Dynamo. Once you go to that page,
you’ll read of the many supernatural benefits from
this easy, 30 second practice. Now, instead of
asking you to believe either:
• the Buddha,
• the teacher of the first Dalai Lama
• or myself…
because let’s face it, believing is just attachment...

so, rather than asking you to believe the Buddha,
the teacher of the first Dalai Lama, or myself; just
run an experiment. It’s easy!

FIRST, get your hands on a copy of Karmic Dynamo,

SECOND, listen to the CD and really give it your
full attention.

THIRD, apply it’s instructions and explanations for
just 30 seconds twice a day, every day, for 90
consecutive days.

FOURTH, notice your results. Have you become happier
or crankier?

FIFTH, take action. If following the instructions
of this month’s CD have transformed you into a
cranky bastard then turn your back on me and never
read any of my essays ever again. But, if applying
the easy teachings of the Karmic Dynamo make you
even a little more loving, peaceful, happy,
fortunate and energetic then perhaps my
instructional CDs could be worthy of your attention.

Listen, there is nothing spiritual about suspicion,
preconception or ignoring Buddha’s advice. So take
advantage of this month’s special discount and put
my teachings to the test. You have nothing to lose but your
sufferings.

why I care about your spiritual practice, that’s why
I care about your consequential happiness and that’s
why I invoke the Buddha’s blessings on your behalf.

Here are some of those blessings…

May you blissfully and productively
meditate twice a day, everyday;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

Once you attain enlightenment, may
you help many others to do likewise;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

May the awareness of impermanence liberate you from
the suffering of habitual grasping;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

May you receive Buddha’s lost secrets;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

May the realization of inter-connection shatter your

Om Mani Padme Hum!

May you always be blessed by the constant and

Om Mani Padme Hum!

May you joyfully make the most of these freedoms and
opportunities that you have received;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

May the understanding, that subtle suffering is
shared by everyone, fill you with compassion for all;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

As you observe:
• the coming and going of the seasons as this
year passes,
• the waxing and waning of the moon as this
month passes,
• the rising and setting of the sun as this
day passes and…
• the heaving and sinking of your chest as this
breath passes,
may you deeply realize that everything is
always changing all the time;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

May you tread Buddha’s path skillfully and joyfully;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

May you be liberated from the tyranny of suffering;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

May you quickly accomplish the meaning of life;
Om Mani Padme Hum!

What are some of the ways these blessings could
enrich your life and the lives of your loved ones?
Have you received these blessings yet? Why not?
What are some of the karmic obstacles that could
stand between you and these blessings?

The key to removing the obstacles standing between
you and these blessings is to get your hands on the
teachings of the Karmic Dynamo and then actually put
them into to action so you can purify your bad karma, so
you can multiply your good karma so you get blessed
down-right, silly. So reserve yours now

Tips on Meditation and the Spiritual path - idea #197
from your Buddhism expert

A Pilipino psychic healer once said something quite
compelling. May I share it with you? She said…

Good Breathing… Good Life,
Poor Breathing… Poor Life,
No Breathing… No Life!

I urge you to resist the “knee-jerk” reaction to
exclaim,

“No, Duh!”

For many years I was guilty of failing to heed this
sage advice. And for many years I suffered from
weakened:
• health,
• strength and…
• stamina;

I want better for you, dear reader.

When skimming the Buddhist prayer-book and guided
meditation resource {available for FREE download} you
could notice that it is organized like a sandwich.

The bottom slice of bread is comprised of the
prayers, invocations and recitations of the
“Opening Recitation.”

The peanut butter could be the Semi-verbal
contemplations such as:
• the three paths of Liberation,
• the three paths of Peace or…
• the three paths of Happiness.

The jelly could be the Silent meditations of:
• the Centering Questions,
• the Sutric Questions or…
• the Tantric Questions.

The top slice of bread are the Closing
Recitations.

Let’s ignore the peanut butter and jelly, for the
time being, and turn our attention to the two
slices of bread. Both the Opening and Closing
recitations could be excellent opportunities to
bring dynamic breathing into the path of
spiritual practice.

It’s simple! During the IN-breath
• pull your tummy in as far as you can
• while simultaneously taking as deep a
breath as possible.

Then, during the OUT-breath
• pull your tummy in, even more,
• while making sure to completely empty
your lungs.

I enthusiastically recommend you combine this
powerful breathing with the practice found on the
Karmic Dynamo CD; where you’ll be taught how to effortlessly
increase your love, so you could be delight every
Buddha, so you could become a source of other’s
peace and happiness.

So make sure you reserve your copy of the
Karmic Dynamo NOW so you don’t miss out on this
life-altering information

Tips on Meditation and the Spiritual path - idea #196
from your Buddhism expert

Is devotion to the Buddha of Compassion the only
path to full enlightenment in one lifetime? No,
of course not. It’s just the fastest.

There is this thing we call the divine. And we’re
always slapping all kinds of labels on it. What are
some of the names we could already be familiar with?

We can call it: Dharmakaya, Chenrezig, Vajradhara,
Samantabhadra, Vairochana, Amitabha, Dhammakaya,
Sky Spirit, God and Goddess, God of Abraham, Isaac
and Jacob, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Shiva,
Krishna, Bhrama, or Tao. Regardless of what labels
we fancy, we all use the same four ideas to describe
the divine. What could they be? We describe the
divine as:
• all powerful,
• all loving,
• all knowing and…
• all present.

Regardless of the labels we bandy about, water is
still water, sky is still sky, a rose is still a
rose and dog poop still stinks. Likewise, despite
differences in language, tradition, culture, belief,
cosmology and metaphysics we are still relating to
the same divinity… whether we know it or not, whether
we believe it or not… whether we want to or not.

To one degree or another every major religion at
least refers to the same TRIO of ideas to be
realized, internalized and processed so that we can
evolve even further upon the path of peace,
happiness and fulfillment. What could they be? Why
simply:
• Causality,
• Change and…
• False-identity.

Then, why do I persist in sharing these teachings
from Buddha’s perspective? Because that is the
clearest, most lucid and dynamically effective
presentation that I have found in all my many
lifetimes of searching.

And to get us there, to give us the strength and the
means to get us to realize those realities in a
truly transformative way, each religion offers
three tools with varying degrees of effectiveness.
What is the TRIO of tools to be used that I often
refer to? They are:
• Devotion,
• Love and…
• Letting-go!

That is why the teacher of the first Dalai Lama
lauded and praised the practice of the Karmic Dynamo.
In less then 30 seconds it increases our access to
the powers of devotion and love in a manner that
profoundly increases our good fortune.

This month I’m revealing the secrets of the Karmic
Dynamo for a reduced donation so you can better
manifest your physical wishes, so you can easily
perfect your concentration, so you can fulfill even
more of your spiritual desires so you can truly
accomplish greatness. You can easily make
arrangements to receive your CD today

Blog EntryFalling DominosMay 5, '08 8:41 PM
for everyone
.

Tips on Meditation and the Spiritual path - idea #195
from your Buddhism expert

As a kid I loved dominos, how about you? No, not
the pizza. They didn’t have Domino’s Pizza when I
was a little boy… yes I’m that old. And no, it
wasn’t the game I liked so much. No, what I loved
about dominos was playing with them as if they
were building blocks. But absolutely the most fun
was balancing the dominos on their sides, in a line
and then tipping the first one over into the
second, and then sit back and watch the chain
reaction. It looked cool, and sounded even better.
Could you recall the sound of a domino chain
reaction? There’s nothing like it.

Individually, a domino isn’t much. But in concert
with others dominos, arranged just so, they can
create quite a memorable effect. Likewise, the
minor adversities in our lives can be negligible by
themselves, but when combined with other petty
inconveniences in our lives, can create quite the
drama. What are some of the ways you could have
felt the domino effect in your life? I sure felt
it last Thursday.

First, I was prescribed, and started taking, a new
antihistamine. And you know how pharmaceuticals can
muck about with our feelings.

Second, I did some counseling, which is always
energetically draining.

Third, I traversed the countryside upon six buses
and one trolley, which is definitely the antidote
to vitality.

Fourth, upon arriving at my Optometrist appointment
I was given the news that the time had come for me
to receive bifocals; because we all just love
reminders of our relentless aging and the inevitable
approach of the dreaded moment when our body will
fail us permanently.

Fifth, I discovered that the classic Glaucoma
“poof” test was replaced by a new test wherein an
electronic device is actually pressed against the
surface of the eye-ball. Yes doctor, won’t you
please poke me in the eye with your electronic
version of a sharp stick; because heaven knows,
after a long hard day, I find that ever-so
soothing! But wait, there’s more…

Sixth, of course no really thorough eye exam is
complete until they put the stinging acid they call
drops into your eyes, so they can dilate the pupils
and have a look inside. Hey, don’t get me wrong. It’s
not that I don’t sincerely feel that it is the height
of glamour to stagger about like some junkie with
pupils the size of nickels.

So there I was… a chemically, physically and
emotionally drained monk, shuffling down the
street, just barely able to see the sidewalk before
me in my post optometric-stupor, fervently hoping
to make the 1 mile journey to the trolley station
in safety. And then it happened.

It was such an unusual sensation. Have you ever felt
this before? Have you ever felt like the earth was
actually opening up beneath your feet. Did you
ever get that sinking feeling in the pit of your
stomach so intensely that it actually felt like the
earth was swallowing you whole?

No, I didn’t like it very much. Do you know what I
felt like doing? I’ll tell ya. I felt like crying.
I felt like I was going to be hit by a car I
couldn’t see through my dilated eyes or that my
vision, or my body was going to fail me any moment.
I felt that I was about to go to my auspicious
rebirth without having completed the tasks that
have been set before me. I felt scared, and angry
and full of self-pity. I wanted to be held. I
wanted to be comforted. I wanted to be taken care
of. But I was all alone. I felt utterly abandoned,
hopeless and weak. And, most astonishing of all,
I felt all of that in a span of just a few seconds!
So, what did I do?

I brought the grotesque yucky-ness of the present
moment into Enlightenment’s paths of Love and
Letting-go. Was it instant bliss? Of course not.
But, by using Buddha’s mental yogas {that are a
vailable for FREE download
}

I was able to quickly find the “eye in the center
of the hurricane” as it were; and so could you.

I brought the vile glop of that moment into Buddha’s
path of compassion and cultivated the longing to
rescue all beings, in all worlds from their
unpleasant emotions; and so could you.

I dragged the illusions of the permanence and
identity my drama-queen sensations into Buddha’s
path of insight and quickly deconstructed them;
and so can you. But how?

Whether I’m performing a healing for the gravely ill,
teaching a class or performing even the most mundane
spiritual chore; I always begin with the practice
that I like to call the “Karmic Dynamo.”

I’m so excited about you getting your hands on this
lesson, that this month I’m offering it at a
substantial discount, so you can improve your
Karma, so you can increase your good fortune, so
you can ensure your auspicious rebirth, so you can
actually accelerate your progress on Buddha’s
path. So reserve your copy now

Tips on Meditation and the Spiritual path - idea #195
from your Buddhism expert

You could be as unobservant as Lois Lane and still
see that there are plenty of fear mongers in every
religion. In every religion on every continent, on
every world there are two types of teachers; Fear-
mongers and Love-mongers. A great example of a Love-
monger could be Saint Francis of Assisi

and a great example of a Fear-monger could be Tomas
de Torquemada of the Spanish Inquisition

In every religion Torquemadas can be found
undermining folks’ peace with tales of hell,
damnation, unspeakable suffering and torment;
designed to manipulate the masses. And yes, hell-
fire Torquemadas can even be found in Buddhism
telling sincere folks of their certain rebirth in
either the hot or cold hells.

Yes, fear can be quite effective at manipulating the
masses but it comes at too high a price. In the short
term fear can undermine the peace that is integral
to Buddha’s path. And in the long term fear can
breed resentment which can undermine devotion, not
only towards one’s teacher, but it can also undermine
devotion to the Buddha and his teachings. Yep,
fear sucks!

Yes, fear does suck, but what about Karma, what
about cause and effect?

Body, Speech and Mind

For every physical action, verbal utterance and
mental decision, there are consequences. Just as
good ones can lead to good:
• events,
• circumstances and
• experiences
in this life and our future ones, likewise bad karma,
generated both in this life and in previous ones,
can have a profound effect in shaping this life and
our next.

Ah ha! Does that mean we should walk Torquemada’s
path of fear and resentment? Oh please don’t.
Rather than lament and dread the effects of our
Karma couldn’t it be better, easier and much more
proactive to simply purify, heal and transform our
karma from bad into good? The great Kadampa teachers
of Tibet used to say that the only good thing about
bad Karma is that it can be purified.

Have you subscribed to Lama Jigme's FREE, fun, politically Incorrect daily e-mail?

There are so many purification methods. Some take
three decades, some take three years and others
take three months. But did you know there is a
profoundly effective Buddhist practice that only
takes 30 seconds?

The Dalai Lama is more that just a great scholar, he
is considered by many to also be a great Buddhist
Yogi. Yes, you may meditate, but so does he. What
could make his meditation sessions so much more
productive and transformative then your own?

The Dalai Lama begins every meditation session with a
special 30 second invocation. You could call it an
unfair advantage, you could call it a preparatory
practice, or you could call it a

Karmic Dynamo

Why do I want to teach you how to effectively perform
the Karmic Dynamo? The teacher of the first Dalai
Lama of Tibet enthusiastically praised this practice
and explained that by practicing it, for just 30
seconds every morning and every evening, you could:

Purify all your Bad karma
• Create Good karma
Multiply your Good karma
• experience Freedom from ever taking a “Bad” rebirth and…
enjoy Protection from natural and supernatural harm

Reserve your copy Now!

What about manifesting? The teacher of the first
Dalai Lama also explained that the easy practice of
the Karmic Dynamo could also cause you to:

be Adopted by every Buddha
• receive the manifestation of your physical wishes and…
accomplish the fulfillment of your spiritual desires

What are your spiritual desires? Most of us meditate
because we wish to be happier as well as more
peaceful and dream of attaining enlightenment. The
teacher of the first Dalai Lama also explained that
by simply practicing this Karmic Dynamo for 30
seconds before your morning meditation and once again
just before your evening meditation you could:

accomplish the perfection of concentration,
• attain greatness,
manifest the mindset that can become the source of everyone’s peace and happiness,
• become worthy to receive respect and gifts,
win the approval and delight of all your teachers and every Buddha,• realize all the steps on Buddha’s path to Enlightenment and…
quickly accomplish Chenrezig {the Buddha of Compassion}

The 14th Dalai Lama’s teacher, Dilgo Khyentse,
taught the importance of both learning as well as
practice. So, I want to give you some extra stuff, so
you can understand a bit more of what Buddha’s path
is really all about, so you can practice the Karmic
Dynamo even more effectively, so you can accomplish
enlightenment in this life. In “Karmic Dynamo”
you’ll also learn about:

the three, wish fulfilling, jewels of Buddha’s path
• what the meaning of life really is,
the three bodies of a Buddha,• what true Enlightenment is,
what the Buddha Nature is and most importantly,
• the four phases of mastery

Thank You Gifts

On the order page I’m giving you the opportunity to
make a medium or a smaller gift. I’ll give you the
thank you gift of receiving the instructions of
the Karmic Dynamo as either:
• a “live”, individual telephone teaching session or
• as an instructional CD.

Your cash donations are integral to the founding of
San Diego’s first “Buddha of Compassion Monastery and
Meditation Center
.” At some level or another, each

just ourselves. Isn’t great, that by simply
furthering your spiritual training by utilizing
either my live or recorded teachings you could be
helping to provide America’s next generation of nuns
and monks with the necessary shelter, clothing,
food, instruction, practice supplies and meditation
materials they’ll need to profoundly help many others?
